Fence update
The company behind our house (who’s customer backed through our fence) is paying for the repairs, and doing it themselves. They are working on it as I type. So good deal!

Went ahead and paid for another year of flickr. I’ve made some good friends there, and it’s a convenient place to put pictures for the family to see. $25 a year isn’t so bad for what you get.
Hello, remember me? Yeah, I live in a trailer park. I know this because you’ve been kind enough to include TRLR in my legal address, thanks. I’m not ashamed of it, I just don’t particularly feel the need to have that on my drivers license.
So yeah.. I live in a trailer park. Why does that mean you don’t have to deliver mail to my house? Why does that mean that you can decide “Oops, we’re going to make one delivery attempt, and call it your final notice”. Did you ever consider, oh I dunno, DRIVING the 100 yards to my house and leaving the package on my front step? UPS and FedEx do it all the time.
From this point forward, I shall make every attempt to have all my packages sent via ANY other carrier then USPS. There is a reason you lazy jackholes are going out of business. It’s called customer service.
So I’m snoozing in bed this morning, with the bedroom window open a crack so the swamp cooler can blow through, when I hear this horrible crunching noise. Since it’s not the first time I’ve heard this noise, I immediately jump up and look out the window, in time to see a enormous Monaco motorcoach backing through my fence. I start yelling “Stop! Stop!” hoping that he doesn’t back into the house, but he kept going. Finally, the driver must have checked his mirrors, and noticed his error. Since the last two times, the people have run off before taking care of their responsibilities, I rushed outside with my camera and made sure to get photographic evidence of the damage done and the person responsible. The good news is, he seems to be a really good guy and gave me his information, and will be paying for Adam to do the repairs.
Hard to believe I ever looked this young.

So you’re trapped at home ’cause the car is in the shop (bad fuel pump, under warranty) and it’s too hot outside to work on the yard. The house is clean, the laundry is done and you’re bored.. what do you do?
Well, if you’re me, you go through and clean out all the duplicates on your file server. Back when I had my massive data loss due to the problem with the network drive, I found ALL of the possible backups of my pictures that I had, and put them back up on the server. This has actually created quite a mess, and I haven’t dealt with it until now. Boring as it sounds to most of you, it’s actually rather relaxing to clean up the drive.
Got my Google Voice invite last night, I’ve been setting it up and testing it. Generally I like it, the web interface is really convenient and I can see myself using it most of the time. I’m not completely sure I like the fact that I have to call in to the number to make an out going call, that’s a little inconvenient.
Sound quality is good, the interface works well.. I’m going to use it for a few days and get back to you and tell you if I like it.
Well, I just got an email from the Flickr people, telling me that my Pro account is about to expire. I’m having a hard time deciding rather or not to renew it, I’m considering moving to SmugMug or some other such service. Anyone have any thoughts?
just got back from my cortizone spinal injections, everything went well. I wasn’t expecting two injections but the doctor hit both the spots that are messed up. Feeling is already coming back to my left leg, and I can feel more of my toes again. Going to go lie down, I’ll catch everyone later.
