After years of wanting one, I finally managed to get ahold of a gas powered R/C car. Traded some other R/C gear for it. Goes like a bat out of hell and is a whole lot of fun to drive. Soda can included for scale:

Changed the theme (again), installed a new shoutbox, added a flickr widget.. Will the changes ever end? Probably not. Also added a twitter tool I’ll “tweet” whenever I add a blog post here.
It’s currently 65 degrees outside, and cloudy. This is worth mentioning because it’s been consistently hot for the last two weeks. I’m really looking forward to the fall and winter this year.
I’ve decided to completely overhaul my flickr site. I’ve used it as a sort of dumping ground for all of my latest work (I’ll be shooting more once the weather cools off a bit) and I think I may have done myself a disservice in that regard. As such, I’m going to start using the Flickr site as a showcase for all of my best work (along with SierraShutter.com) and move the family related stuff to another location. I’ll make sure to post the updated information on where you can go to see pictures of Connor as soon as I decide exactly how I’m going to set it up.
In the mean time, all is going well here, writing has been a bit slow as of late because it’s that time of year, but things will start picking up as the holiday season approaches.
